Classes on Offer
Runcorn Park Physie caters for girls and ladies of all abilities - from beginners to an advanced standard.
From 3yrs to 73yrs and beyond, our classes are age-appropriately designed to be enjoyed at all life stages.
Preschoolers
Our Preschoolers class is a super fun 30-minute class, where you'll find our 3-4 year olds wiggling and giggling their way through an assortment of routines.
From the basics of physie, to beginner ballet moves, energetic jazz dances, popular children's songs, and fun activities for their gross motor skills, our Preschoolers are sure to have a smile on their face each week!
Juniors
Our Junior classes are the ideal way for our girls to develop healthy minds and bodies whilst forming friendships that last a lifetime.
We teach a variety of routines, from energetic cardio warms, to basic ballet, to stretch routines, and a big favourite - the dance routines! There's something for everyone at physie!
Best of all, our classes help the girls to develop balance and control, co-ordination, grace, flexibility, poise, posture, strength and stamina.
They are also ideal for building concentration and discipline, confidence, memory, listening skills, musical appreciation, teamwork, respect, and friendships.
Teens/Seniors
Our Senior classes are the pinnacle of young physie girls' dreams. With the most physically (and mentally) challenging syllabus, the Senior girls become the epitome of co-ordination, strength, flexibility, grace, poise, and stamina - and all while moving through a range of unique styles & expression across the different routines.
Most importantly, our Seniors classes are a supportive outlet for the girls to get up and move their bodies, and allow a small shift in focus from their intense studies and work life. They are a great step toward positive mental health!
Ladies
Our Ladies classes are a good way the increase fitness, improve flexibility, and challenge the mind, all while having a great time in class! Perfect for beginners as well as experienced physie lovers. This class is also suitable for any ex-dancers who are looking for a dance-based exercise program.
A simplified Beginner Ladies syllabus is taught step-by-step at an easy-to-follow pace throughout the year. We also teach the Open Ladies syllabus for those at the advanced level.
Physie is a wonderful sport that mothers can share with their daughters, so if you're enrolling your daughter in our classes, consider giving our ladies class a go too!
Stretch/Strength/Conditioning Sessions
Our strength & conditioning classes focus on pilates-style core exercises, strength work, cardio fitness, foot work, and stretches for flexibility.
They are complimentary sessions for our members (7yrs+) to further develop their skills and help them excel in competitions.
In 2023, we've added extra conditioning sessions to our weekly timetable.
Private Lessons
We offer private lessons with our Head Associate, Miss Stephanie, in the lead up to competition season. These one-on-one sessions are designed to give individualised attention to the more detailed areas of a student's technique and performance. Girls who are considering private lessons must also show that they are committed to practicing at home to refine their technique and apply corrections. Private lessons are in addition to (not a replacement for) regular group classes.
